Sports Illustrated ...

... has a new Swimsuit Edition cover girl:

Scott and I took Malianna and the boys to SF's "beach." There were no pounding waves or tropical breezes, instead there was a reservoir and warm desert winds. The weather was lovely and the kids enjoyed themselves. It was Malianna's first time to the "beach" and she loved playing in the sand. At first, she wasn't quite sure what to make of it when we sat her down, but once she did, she didn't want to be bothered with anything else. In fact, she sat up on her own for quite awhile before falling over... and that's when the photo shoot began. She loved laying on the sand until we made the mistake of sitting her up again, but this time around she fell over and ate it. After that, she was through. She wanted her Evian (bottle) and to be taken to her "trailer" (carseat). The boys on the other hand stayed mostly in the water and only got out when they were hungry. While the kiddos were swimming, Scott tried his hand at fishing again and luckily for him, he met another guy who gave him some advice and voila! He caught 2 trouts which we ate for supper. In the years we've lived here, he's now caught a total of 3 fishes. I'm so proud of my fisherman!
