My oldest baby left this morning around 7 a.m. for YW camp until Friday, which makes me wonder if she'll be sick of camping by the time she gets back. She's been packed and ready to go for the past few weeks and was so excited to be going with her friends. I have to admit... I miss her so much. She's my right-hand ma[ide]n and she knows exactly how I like things to be done. I am very particular as to how dishes, laundry, wood floors and bathrooms and heck, the rest of the house should be cleaned, to the point that it drives the rest of my household crazy. Don't get me wrong, my home is far from being orderly... I wonder what home is with 6 children and a million and one things happening. If you have a busy home with this many children or more and you've managed to keep it clean 90% of the time, then please share with me your secret[s], PLEASE! Because my bedroom is usually in disarray from the clean laundry pile that is awaiting for some magical hands to tackle it. I can always count on Tiani to take care of the house when I'm away. Okay, maybe I'm dreading a whole week of cleaning without her help, can you blame me? My older boys clean, but it's the kind of cleaning that requires constant parental hovering to get it done right. Oh, how did I get on this subject anyway? I was blogging about my daughter... my daughter. She's a lot of fun to be around and she can be quite the drama queen in a funny sort-of way. She forgives quickly and is such a tender-hearted young lady and most of all, she doesn't like to dwell on the negative. She's grown so fast and so much... I can't believe that in 3 years, she'll be driving and going on group dates (if her Daddy allows her to), and in about 5 years, she'll be graduating from high school and moving on to BYU-P,H, or I (we hope!). We'll even settle for SVU, but she wants so badly to attend BYU-H, work at PCC and meet the rest of my family there. I only hope if she's given the opportunity to go, that she doesn't get married within the first year there. They don't call it BY-Woo for nothing, right? I'll have to have my baby sister in Hawaii keep a close eye on her. :) Anyway, Tiani attended a youth program at BYU last month with two of her friends and she is really motivated to keep her grades up and take the needed courses in hopes of attending the "Y." She's super smart and ended this past school year with another 4.0, acing all her advance classes. We are so proud of her. She loves literature and English and I think there's a possibility that she might be an English major like her Auntie Alissa. It would be a good thing since all ya'll know I need help with my English and who knows, she can take over our family blog which I hope will increase our blog's reading level. :D
Well, here's to 4 more days til she comes home.
The farewell committee (with the same clothes on from the night before). ;)

====================Since Tiani had to leave this morning, we held FHE last night. The lesson was on
"Children Honor and Obey Your Parents" which I found on the internet. The lesson used Esther (in the Bible), as an example. The site also provided a game and a recipe for a treat called,
Hamantaschen, which is a traditional Jewish cookie recipe that is made during the Feast of Purim. The children enjoyed making the cookies and they tasted great!
