Has it really been that long...

Since I've blogged? So, I should really consider this a blog resurrection then, right? Anyway, to be honest with you, I've been on facebook since this week Monday, with any free time I get. It's been a great way to meet up with old friends from back in the days and a few family members who live far and some who are abroad. One of my favorite families growing up in OC were the Sorenson's (from NZ). They're an awesome family that we loved and enjoyed being around with. When our family moved to Riverside Co. over 18 years ago, we lost contact with them, but with fb, I've been able to get in contact with Kylie and Svend (Sorenson)... geeez, it sort of made me feel a bit youth-ish. I also met up with a few friends from high school in OC. It's been great to see what everyone has been up to. Anyhow, with it being the New Year and all, I've made several goals for the year. Below are my top 10. I don't know how many, if any, will actually come into fruition, so let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope at least ONE does.

1) Be more patient and tolerant of others (this happens to be an unending goal of mine).
2) Walk, walk, walk (I can't use the weather as an excuse anymore).
3) Be more dedicated on my health issues (listening AND doing what my doctor and diabetic nurse says, wearing my pump 24/7, 4xday testing, stay on my diabetic diet; and take all of my meds even if I still think my kidneys are just fine and my doctors are paranoid and wrong. I know Scott would be ecstatic if I actually pull this one off).
4) Omit soda (no more Diet Coke for me. I'll be soda-sober for 2 weeks this Sunday. Man, it's been hard, luckily I love to drink water anyways).
5) Work on getting rid of my trypanophobia (and being diabetic has only made it worse).
6) Be a savvy shopper.
7) Increase our food storage supply.
8) Plant a fruit tree somewhere in the yard and stay on top of the weeds in my garden this year.
9) Stop making my kids and hubby work on days they are home from school/work, when they are sick (just because they're able to move around doesn't mean I should expect them to get up and help me clean toilets. lol).
10) TRY to keep this blog updated.
