And what did I see?
Snow flakes sticking to my apricot tree.
Spring has brought me such a bad surprise,
Snow flakes falling right before my eyes!
I can take an armful and make a weapon,
And as you can see...
The last time I checked, today is April 15th and it's suppose to be Spring already! The weather's been so delightful these last few days, until winds came a-blowin' . Oooooo, maybe it's a sign for those who haven't filed their taxes by today's deadline. Anyhow, Tessa and I had to cancel our bar-b-q plans for our families today, because of the *sigh* snow! I am so ready for Spring! I am ready to see and smell the blooming flowers and the budding trees. I am ready to feel the warm Spring air. I am ready to hear the birds sing and most of all, I am ready to see GREEN!!! If I could summon the sun, I'd run up and down my street in my bathing suit, singing "Let the Sunshine In." Hmmmmm... maybe not, I would not want to leave a scary impression in my neighbor's minds. ;)
